GEOrock Garden at Campbell Collegiate

In 2004, Saskatchewan’s first GEOrock Garden was created.

It is located in the front courtyard of Campbell Collegiate at 102 Massey Road, Regina. The GEOrock Garden consists of 32 rocks of various sizes and composition. It is specifically designed to be used by students and teachers to learn more about geology and other aspects of the natural world.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Saskatchewan Geological Society, who also supported it financially. A grant by the Canadian Geological Foundation helped bring the project to fruition.
