Awards

At its Annual General Meeting in late January or early February each year, the Society presents a number of awards to emerging geoscientists and established researchers. The Saskatchewan Geoscience Honour Roll plaque is an award that recognizes geoscientists who made significant contributions to geoscience in the province. Best undergraduate and graduate posters at the Geological Open House in Saskatoon are awarded the President’s and Laszlo Fuzesy awards, respectively. The top undergraduate student at the U of R is awarded the Robert Milner award and the best undergraduate student at the U of S is given the Walter Kupsch award.
