This year the Saskatchewan Geological Society in organizing a Field Trip to learn about Dinosaurs in southwestern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta. Dr. Meagan Gilbert from the Saskatchewan Geological Survey will take us behind the scenes at the T.rex Discovery Centre in Eastend and the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller to learn the latest in Dinosaur discoveries from the research experts.
We will also visit the badlands to see the sedimentology and ecology of the dinosaur habitat. The Field Trip will take place from September 14–18, 2026. The Field Trip will be limited to 18 members because of limited accommodation space. The cost is $600 for members.
